Also helps building DHCP/DNS servers in a lab without causing issues on a production network. This is a wonderful tool to use to configure servers in a safe environment. Since the network card is active and appears to be on a network it allows for TCP/IP settings to be configured. Using VirtualPC and this device you can connect several guest pcs/servers on a internal network that is built totally on one device. Students are impressed by the design and makes a very nice gift.
